The Viral Hepatitis Control Office (VHCO) was set up in 2018 under Special Preventive Programme of Centre for Health Protection, the Department of Health to coordinate the actions and programmes related to prevention and control of viral hepatitis, including health education, surveillance and prevention of viral hepatitis. In addition, VHCO provides secretariat support to the Steering Committee on Prevention and Control of Viral Hepatitis.
